The Carillion Civic Association announces it’s 44th Annual “Arts in the Park”
A celebration of creativity featuring over 450 art and craft exhibitors from across the country.

Richmond VA. Artists from around the United States will gather in Byrd Park to display everything from fine art paintings to jewelry and weavings at The Carillon Civic Association’s 44th annual Arts in the Park exhibition and sale on Saturday May 2 from 11 am to 6pm and Sunday May 3 from 11 am to 5pm.

Arts in the Park is a nationally rated juried art show featuring over 450 art and craft exhibitors from across the country. Free and open to the public, Arts in the Park offers the opportunity to see and purchase fine and original work produced by top-quality artists and crafts people from Virginia and throughout the United States.

This year Jennifer Huilzing has taken over the Chairmanship and Director of the event, “Known to be one of the best, largest and most well-attended art shows on the East Coast says former director Pat Lovelace, it has won several awards including Best Art Event by Richmond Magazine and Best Place to Buy Art by Virginia Living Magazine.

You will find unique paintings, crafts, woodwork, glass, fiber, ceramics and jewelry as some of the craft media represented here.

Arts in the Park has free parking and free shuttles available at the City Stadium parking lot and handicap parking is available at the park.

Arts in the Park is sponsored by the Carilion Civic Association, a neighborhood group dedicated to the beautification of the surrounding area including Byrd Park. The members act as volunteers to put on this event, and the proceeds benefit numerous resources in the Richmond Area including SPCA and Fan Free Clinic Food Pantry.
